Event Details
The Sunflower Revolution VI is an annual, multi-day event that brings athletes, patients, physicians, caregivers and community leaders together in the battle against Parkinson’s Disease.
All proceeds directly benefit Parkinson’s Disease research and wellness programs sponsored by the UC Neuroscience Institute at University Hospital and the Davis Phinney Foundation.
2009 Events
In 2009, the Sunflower Revolution is implementing exciting new changes! Our emphasis will be on engaging cyclists, patients and families in the race against Parkinson’s Disease. We will partner with the City of Milford to create a family-friendly “Sunflower Streetfest” that will feature musicians, performers and great food! In a change from previous years, there will be no Friday night gala. Instead, look for an intimate event for major fundraisers and special friends of the Sunflower Revolution. The Parkinson’s Disease Symposium will again be an excellent opportunity for patients and caregivers to learn about innovations and treatment options directly from renowned physicians and researchers. And, as always, we are proud to bring you the Sunflower Revolution VI Bike Ride, the premiere cycling event in the region.
